Best Restaurants in Carriacou, Grenada

Visitors to Carriacou are spoilt when it comes to fine dining - something which seems all the more surprising given the remoteness and size of the island.

Our two absolute favourites for good western style food are to be found at opposite ends of the island. The Original Slipway Restaurant sits right on the beach at the far end of Tyrel Bay - a relaxing spot to sit and watch the yachts come and go whilst taking advantage of some truly delicious fare. Sunday lunch is popular with the local expat community so it’s always good to make a reservation in good time.

Then in the north of the island is The Round House where owner/chef Roxanne serves great food with fine attention to detail. The service is always impeccable and there is the choice between sitting in the beautiful gardens or inside the intriguing round house itself. Prospect House is just five minutes away by car.
